Mount Sinai’s pharmacy goes ‘digital-first’

Mount Sinai goes digital-first with Latent and decreases time to medication access while freeing up staff to do more patient-facing work. In just a month, the Pharmacy team has cut completion time by at least 50%, with the team targeting a 75% to 80% reduction.

One axis from no reduction to a full reduction. A bar fills to at least 50% in the first month. A band marks the 75% to 80% target. A pin lands inside the band at about 75%.

With Latent, prior authorization completion time dropped by about 75%, from an average of 25 to 30 minutes to under 5.
